People behind Cayes Please
Good stays start with local knowledge. We live here, work here and care for every stay and every home with the attention we'd want for our own.

We found what we were looking for.
Kay and Conor first landed on Caye Caulker with two backpacks and no plan beyond a week of going slow. A week turned into months, months into years, and somewhere along the way, Caye Caulker became home.
After years of living out of backpacks, staying everywhere from five-star private islands to $2 hammocks on the beach, they knew what made a place memorable. But what they'd been searching for was harder to find: community. They found it here.
That perspective, paired with years of experience running hotels and businesses in Belize and abroad, is what they bring to Cayes Please: an understanding of what makes a stay special, what it takes to deliver one, and what it means to truly care for a place.
We live the life we recommend
Our favourite restaurants, swimming spots and quiet corners of Caye Caulker come from living here, not a guidebook. When we suggest a place, it’s because we’d go there ourselves.

Our team
The people behind Cayes Please, and the ones making sure everything runs as it should.
Kay is the one who notices what everyone else walks past. She has an eye for the details that make a home feel cared for and a stay feel easy, and somehow keeps track of all the moving pieces without making any of it feel complicated.
Conor likes solving problems, preferably before anyone knows there is one. He handles a little bit of everything, from properties and guest requests to the inevitable quirks of island life, and usually knows who to call when something needs getting done.
Care on both sides of the stay
No shortcuts, no going through the motions. Just real people paying attention.
Personal care from real people
Guests and owners always know who they’re dealing with and can reach someone who knows the property.
Attention to the little things
We notice the details, systematically stay ahead of problems and solve them before they become someone else’s headache.
Local knowledge that runs deep
We live here, work here and know who to call, where to go and how to get things done on Caye Caulker.
